Fundraise on behalf of our Members

Are you participating or holding a special fundraising event? Do you have a birthday or anniversary coming up? Would you like to honour someone who is special to you? There is an easy and fun way to do any one of those and fundraise on behalf of any of our International Programme members by creating a personal fundraising page.

Creating a personal fundraising page via People's Fundraising and sharing your story is a great way to provide support for our members. It is also a quick and easy way to raise money that will go directly to support positive social change to people around the world.

A few instructions to remember when setting up your Fundraising Page

1Select the UK Fund for Charities as 'Your Charity'

When arriving at People's Fundraising look for the “Start fundraising for UK Fund for Charities” section and click on the “Start Fundraising” button. Next look for the “Supported Charities” Tab and make sure you select “UK Fund for Charities (GB)” as your chosen charity. It is the UK Fund for Charities that you will be fundraising for on behalf of your chosen UKFC International Programme Member organisation.

2Your Fundraising Page

The perfect time to mention which UKFC International Programme Member you are fundraising on behalf of is when filling out the details on the ‘General’ set up section. Feel free to mention the Name and Mission Statement of your chosen UKFC international Programme Member you are fundraising on behalf of in either the ‘your page summary’ OR ‘About you’ areas.

Most of your chosen methods of fundraising will mean that donations made to you will qualify for Gift Aid. Please make sure you read this particular section carefully and pay careful attention when answering any questions.

We want your page to be as unique as you are, so customise it by adding your own photos, videos, wording, links and even your blog or Twitter feed.

3Promote your page
Next important step is to spread the word. Tell your friends, family and work colleagues about your fundraising, and ask them to sponsor you. When finishing the set up of your page you will be able to share the link on all your social networks.
4Good luck!

Happy Fundraising!

If you need to make any more changes you can update your page at any time from your personal account area. Remember to also login to your Golden Giving Fundraising page to post updates and check on how close you are to reaching your all important fundraising goal.

On behalf of all our International Programme Members we would like to thank you for fundraising for the UK Fund for Charities.

When your fundraising event has taken place and the donation window has closed the UKFC will distribute the funds to the relevant UKFC International Programme member organisation.
